Matt, Programme Manager

Matt is a people-centred individual with significant experience in increasing access to the arts, community engagement and educational curriculums. Before joining PLACED, Matt was the Northwest project manager at Create, where he planned, managed and delivered high-quality and engaging programmes across a broad range of art forms with diverse communities, enhancing well-being through the creative arts.

His passion is to support and engage young people to take ownership of their creativity, community spaces and futures. He believes in the arts as a transformational tool in changing young people’s lives, their communities and environments.

Matt joined the PLACED team in 2023 as a Project Officer, supporting on the PLACED Academy and engagement projects and now manages our youth programmes.
