Max Frost, Ambassador
Max is a Part II Architectural Assistant working at HTA Design LLP on a variety of suburban and urban housing schemes. Max graduated from the Manchester School of Architecture in 2022 where his design thesis focused on the themes of gentrification, regeneration and working class culture in the modern city. His interests include social housing, urban regeneration and the future of housing in post-industrial cities. At HTA, Max has been able to work on large scale masterplanning schemes and smaller suburban housing projects across the country.
HTA has 52 years of experience providing comprehensive design services and in-depth design expertise focussed on residential-led development and placemaking. HTA is a multi-disciplinary practice with a focus on creating great residential places with the design and delivery of better housing. HTA has been at the forefront of championing great housing that respects and understands communities since its inception as community architects from large school refurbishments to major regeneration projects.
With over four decades of experience in estate and urban regeneration across the UK, HTA work on all types of funding regimes from Housing Action Trusts to Cross-Subsidised business models for a wide range of Local Authority, Housing Association and private sector clients. When working with existing communities, their experience is invaluable and are often the most informed collaborators – know the places that they live more intimately than anyone else.
HTA was awarded the AJ100 Employer of the Year award in 2018 and again in 2021, as well as being selected as one of Building Magazine’s top 50 Good Employers for three years running.
