Kim, Project Coordinator

Kim is a Geography graduate from Edge Hill University with interests in heritage, place identity and sustainability. Her passions for community engagement within the built environment stem from her undergraduate degree, with a dissertation based on the industry and place identity of St. Helens.

Through volunteer work, she sits on a board of directors of the Cannington Shaw Preservation Trust CIC, working to regenerate the old Cannington Shaw No.7 Bottle Shop. Kim also runs her own online heritage society, St. Helens Heritage Society, engaging local people in the rich heritage that they live amongst in St. Helens. She has experience within museum settings, working with a team to curate exhibitions, organise events and deliver guided heritage tours.

Kim joined the PLACED team in 2022 as a Project Coordinator and is working towards helping people to engage and learn about built environments – to build better places together.
