Sian Atherton, Ambassador

Vernacular design, specific to its location and actively engaged within its community, has been at the heart of Sian’s practice from initial intrigue in architecture, through to education and now in practice. Sian works in a small architectural practice, Harrison Stringfellow based on Penny Lane, Liverpool, where their approach to design champions collaboration: using their creative skills to add value to projects where least expected. Communication is at the core of all of their projects and they aim to inspire creative thinking amongst construction partners and communities.
