Louise Taylor, Ambassador
Louise joined BDP’s Manchester Studio in August 2016 following her Undergraduate degree and returned to the studio following the successful completion of her Masters in Architecture at University of Sheffield, completing her RIBA Part 3 qualification in March 2021 at the practice. Louiseās interests are in community led regeneration and historic building reuse in urban environments, with a particular specialism in the historic railways and the railway architecture of industrial Britain. Louise also holds a position on the Young Persons advisory council for the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Growing up in Liverpool, Louise took part in a PLACED Summer School as a participant during secondary school and credits the programme with kick-starting her career in architecture. She is keen to give back by continuing to deliver workshops as an Ambassador and to encourage the next generation of architecture students.
